From a heat-reactive keyboard and a mind-blowing air bubble clock to the coolest and most expensive infinity cube that takes you to a different dimension.
Hidden Power Source
This is a perpetual marble machine. Perpetual motion machines just keep on going without any obvious energy loss. However, scientists agree that this is impossible due to the first two laws of thermodynamics. But the machine is clearly working, so what’s the secret? Well, a rechargeable electromagnet that is hidden in the base of the machine to keep accelerating the ball.
Air Bubble Clock
This is an amazing homemade air bubble clock. It runs by a self-programmed Arduino, and besides displaying the time, it is also programmed to display different patterns and words, which you can edit using your smartphone.
Mesmerising Kinetic Sculptures
These are one of kinetic artist even black’s most mesmerising kinetic sculptures the new addition of glowing UV light reactive parts take them to a whole new level.
Plasma Hourglass Lamp
This is a plasma hourglass. The lamp is filled with plasma and phosphor-coated glass beads that generate cool light effects as the beads fall down.
Heat Reactive Ink
This car has been coated with heat reactive ink. The ink contains thermotropic liquid crystals that change color depending on the temperature. Other creative people like Even and Caitlin have used the crystals in their own project. Check out this amazing heat reactive keyboard and Xbox controller.
Infinity Lamp
This is the mind-blowing Fresnel lamp by french artist Sean Augustine march and it’s one of the best infinity objects out there.
Infinite Mirrors
The illusion of infinity is created by setting up mirrors that are partly transparent. A part of the light can leave the object while also bouncing back and forth between the mirrors, creating the visual image of infinity. You can actually buy this item, the only downside is it’s quite expensive.
Cool CMY Cube
I have another cube that is pretty cool. This is the CMY cube, and it’s a simple yet mind-blowing science toy. The cube actually only contains the colors in the CMY spectrum: cyan, magenta, and yellow. However, if you angle it in different ways, you can achieve new cool colors. By the law of subtractive color mixing, the effect is so simple yet so mind-blowing, and it only costs around 20 bucks.

Take a look at Whale, a beautiful 3D video billboard at the New York City Times Square. Whale is made by the Korean digital media company District, who is known for their hyper-realistic experiences.

Lithophane Illusion
These cool 3D printed lithophane photos give the illusion of an actual image. It’s created by varying the thickness of the material so that it looks like a regular printed picture when holding it against a light source.
