The sixth generation of Samsung foldable phones is already available, and little improvements are made each year. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 was one of six new items unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked event.
With better durability, better software, thinner designs, brighter screens, and reduced weight, the new Galaxy Z Fold6 is quite similar to its non-folding siblings. All of this makes the Galaxy Z Fold6 the greatest folding phone available, provided you can afford its exorbitant price, poor camera, and dearth of Galaxy AI capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6’s Best Features
The ability to support a foldable phone without a kickstand is its greatest benefit. Therefore, the Galaxy Z Fold6’s hinge and screen folding work well. Samsung calls this phone’s 90-degree half fold “flex mode,” which makes sure apps follow the screen. In the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, some apps move to the top half of the screen when you prop the display open like a laptop. It’s not the greatest viewing experience because the screen spreads out like a waterfall.
But when it comes to splitting screen apps, the Galaxy Z Fold6 outperforms the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which makes it more practical for juggling work and gaming at the same time. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 is still lacking in quality.
We see the camera’s lack of technological advancement as a negative. On the rear of the Fold 6 are three cameras: a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 10-megapixel 3x optical zoom. A 10-megapixel camera and a 4-megapixel under-screen sensor are hidden on the front of the unfurled screen. Whether taking pictures of a group of friends conversing in a dimly lit pub or taking photos at night or on a sunny day, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6’s image quality was decent but not as outstanding as the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s.
Samsung introduced new Galaxy AI features on the Z Fold6, such as the ability to create a refined sketch of an image and convert selfies into AI-generated photos. Additionally, the Z Fold6 supports previously revealed AI functions like the ability to interpret text messages and phone conversations, remove or alter objects in photographs, summarize, reformat, and translate Samsung notes, and start a Google search by merely circling an object. Well, a lot of the AI-generated features in Galaxy aren’t used frequently and seem to be tailored to particular situations.
Review of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6: Is It Good or Bad?
Samsung is at the forefront of the increasingly competitive foldable phone business. Samsung handsets that fold and flip are just as elegant and well-made as phones that don’t fold.
